WITTY KNITS

TWINKLE, TWINKLE: KNITTING STAR

It's almost chilly enough to dive into this season's chunky knit sweater trend, and designer Wenlan Chia, of Twinkle by Wenlan, is giving lessons.  Last night, at the Anthropologie Flagship store in NYC's Rockefeller Plaza, Wenlan hosted an exclusive knitting instruction event.

Everyone from beginner to advanced toiled away on a project straight from the Twinkle book, Big City Knits.

About 100 guests turned out for the event and sipped Farnum Hill hard cider and munched on minis -- finger-friendly BLTs and veggie and chicken burritos -- as they worked on their pieces des resistances.
