My Miami Vice: TAJ by Sabrina

I just got back from Miami Beach (work and play), and during my visit I stumbled upon an amazing boutique on Ocean Drive: TAJ by Sabrina.

ESSENTIAL SHOPPING STOP: TAJ by Sabrina, Miami Beach

Shop owner Sabrina Crippa not only stocks sweet, summery pieces by Tibi and Milly, but she is also entering the second year of designing her own label -- and her collection alone is worth a trip to the shop.

A cotton voile, embellished kaftan by Sabrina...I love the Missoni vibe

Beautiful cotton and silk tunic tops, dresses and leather sandals embellished with the most dazzling beads, gems and stones reflect Sabrina's globally-inspired aesthetic.

Sabrina shows me a tunic from her new collection

Sabrina (above, showing one of her designs) grew up outside Milan, and regularly visits Morocco, Africa and India, but Miami has been her home since 1999.

In a season in which global-inspired items should be at the top of your shopping list, Sabrina's collection will make you look and feel as if you've traveled the world and brought back one-of-a-kind treasures.  I'm just happy I got to bring back one such treasure (which was definitely not enough!) from Miami.

I LOVE that tunic she's holding up. That would make one gorgeous cover up over a bathing suit! Those silk dresses are gorgeous as well--they'd be so light and comfortable for hot summer nights.

Thanks for sharing!

Wow!
TAJ BY SABRINA spied by KATRINA! What a great find!

Your words of excitement over Sabrina's creativity were proofed by those photos of her creations. I became her instant fan and immediately went on line to HeidiKlein.com but couldn't find enough. I am especially interested in learning more about the caftan shown in your second photo.

Then I clicked on to your CNN Show. The photos along with your engaging narration took me to Miami. I forgot I was in front of my computer screen! It was extremely well-produced.
I especially liked the ease of accessing CNN from your blog. Please do more of that, and kudos to CNN for mentioning your blog.

You are well-named, STYLE SPY! with an additional talent for PAINTING-PICTURES-WITH-YOUR-WORDS as you did in this recent CNN Show with....................
"floor-grazing dress!"

Thank you for entertaining me today! Sadie Lady
